We’re a small but mighty team (okay, mostly just one multi-tasking teacher-turned-author with a big heart and a bigger to-do list) making books and resources that speak to kids, parents, educators, and everyone in between. Whether it’s a coloring book full of woodland charm, a funny rap battle about punctuation, or a blog post that makes you laugh and think — everything we create comes from the same place: a deep love for learning and connection.

Behind the Scenes

Monkey Buddies is proudly woman-owned, teacher-led, and deeply invested in the power of storytelling. Our founder wears a lot of hats — illustrator, writer, publisher, homeschool support, baker, blog author, and general bringer-of-ideas-to-life.

We don’t believe in polished perfection. We believe in growth, in good intentions, and in making something meaningful with what you have — even if it’s just a big idea, a quiet afternoon, and a handful of colored pencils.
